Kitchen Re-Boot

THAT MAY, OR MAY NOT… BE FOOD.

Your pantry is the foundation to a healthy diet. In this 90 minute session, we will work together to go through your pantry and refrigerator, discuss items that you have already, and what ingredients and tools you may need to stick to a nutritious and delicious lifestyle.

BENEFITS OF A PANTRY MAKEOVER:

  • learn how to stock ingredients for quick-to-fix meals.
  • sift through nutrition facts and fiction
  • learn the food label lingo and how to not fall victim to fancy food marketing.
  • gain confidence in the kitchen knowing you have set the foundation for a healthy diet.

It is not necessary to replace all food stored in your kitchen all at once. The first step is taking stock of what you have in your kitchen and what healthier selections could be made. We will set guidelines for selecting foods you will want to bring home to your kitchen based on your family favorites and preferences.

A guided Grocery Store Tour is a recommended follow-up to this service to use your new found knowledge and fill up your kitchen with healthier options.

IT ALL STARTS WITH A CHOICE.

Gain the skills and strategies to make healthy choices in the very place where you make decisions about what you feed yourself and your family.

BENEFITS OF A GROCERY STORE TOUR

Learn the label lingo: I’m here to help you understand nutrition labels to help you make more healthful food choices.

Increase your fruit and vegetable consumption: I will encourage you to try new fruits and vegetables through tasting samples, educating you on the nutritional benefits, and providing you with simple cooking and storage techniques.

Save time and money: Learn food preparation and storage techniques to reduce food waste and cut down on the time you spend in the kitchen.

Receive credible nutrition information: I will provide you with guidance and expertise on specific nutrition topics, healthy cooking, and how to cultivate wellness and well-being for yourself and family.
