A pineapple mango salsa recipe that's easy to make, super refreshing and super healthy too! 6 ingredients and just a few minutes and your new summer bestie is ready to go!
PREP THE FRUIT: If using frozen fruit, check the pieces, cutting any larger chunks into bite sized pieces. If using fresh, peel and chop fresh pineapple and ripe mango into small dice.
PREP THE VEGGIES: Peel onion and cut into small dice. For jalapeno pepper, remove membranes and seeds before mincing. If you like a more spicy mango salsa, leave the membranes and a few of the seeds. Wash and dry fresh cilantro and then roughly chop.
Place cut fruit into medium bowl. Add onions, jalapenos and cilantro and juice of the lime. Mix well.
Store in airtight container in the fridge until ready to serve.

Notes
FROZEN FRUIT: No need to defrost, the frozen fruit is actually easier to cut into small pieces. Leave this tropical fruit salsa out at room temperature for about 30 minutes and fruit will naturally thaw. OPTIONAL: Add chunks of avocado for a creamier salsa. Diced red pepper will add color and crunch. A sprinkle of sea salt will bring out the savory flavors of the fresh ingredients.
