Roasted cauliflower is easy to make and tastes incredible. This easy roasted cauliflower recipe is low in calories and carbs, highly nutritious, and so versatile.
PREPARE CAULIFLOWER: First cut cauliflower in half down through the core. Then, trim off the leaves and bottom. Then cut into florets.
WASH CAULIFLOWER: Place florets into a bowl of lightly salted water. If there are any bugs lodged within the florets, they will be forced out and float to the top. Let it soak for about a minute. Drain cauliflower and place on a kitchen towel to dry off.
Spread cauliflower florets onto a rimmed baking tray that will fit it all in one layer.
Drizzle cauliflower with olive oil. Mix so oil is evenly distributed. Sprinkle on spices and then mix thoroughly. This is easiest done with your hands or a large pair of tongs.
Roast for 20 minutes, until crisp on the edges and tender inside.
Notes
SINGLE LAYER: If cauliflower is crowded on the baking tray it will steam rather than roast. Make sure cauliflower fits in a single layer, or use two baking trays.
